Cinnamon and Sugar Pie

Growing up Mama would always make this "pie" for sister and I.
We loved it. Still do.
And now, my little ones love it as well.
Grab a frozen pie crust, butter, cinnamon and sugar.
Spread some butter on the crust.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Follow directions on package {for temp and time}

You really cannot mess this baby up!
Not sure that you will consider it a "pie"
Seeing how super easy it is.
And, the only filling is sprinkled cinnamon and sugar!
Yum, the perfect fall treat.

The kids get so excited when they see me bust out with that pie crust.
Seriously.
Makes me happy.

And, makes me smile thinking about memories from my childhood.
With Mama, sister and I.

And then.
I remember.
How we ALWAYS would FIGHT for the last piece.
Everytime.
And now my kids do the same thing.
:)

Thank you, sweetie, for sharing - I had forgotten about that but assuming I'm older than you - heck, I'm older than everybody!! - my mom did this dish, too, with scraps leftover from a pie she was making and she would sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar and then roll them up and bake. Same as yours but different shape! memories! :) thanks for sharing!
