Free Vintage Wash Basin, Turned Coffee Table

Yes, friends, you read that right.
F.R.E.E.
Last fall the hubs and I were out thrifting.
We came upon a sale that was run by a wonderful couple.
They truly were so nice.
We chatted with them for over an hour.

We purchased several items.
All lovely and unique.
When we turned to walk to the car to leave,
we realized they were following us with this!

Enter the vintage, wash basin, table base, thingy!
Isn't she lovely.
We were so thankful.
The hubs had big plans for this baby.

First he cut a board to size for the top.
Then painted it a dark gray color.

He actually asked me "what"color I wanted it.
Hello.
Duh.
White {washed} of course!

And here she is in our living room.
Such a lovely and unique piece.
We are enjoying our new {old} table so much.

Some of us like it ALOT!
{Just keepin' it real}
I turned my back after snapping photos and this is what I found.
"Mama, I was helping you decorate."
LOVE HIM!

This is a creative and good idea to change an old table into a new one. Your renovation idea works!
