This is our most favorite quiche.
Mom found this recipe years ago.
I make it often for our family.
Pair it with a salad and you have a lovely meal.
You will need:
1 deep dish pie crust
1 c. cheddar
1 c. swiss
4 eggs
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 can chunk/shredded chicken {I use breast meat only}
1 jar or can of mushrooms
Preheat over to 350.
Poke holes in bottom of crust with fork.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Take out, sprinkle cheese mixture on top of crust.
Next, layer your chicken and mushrooms.
Beat eggs until frothy.
Add your whipping cream to eggs and pour on top.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Carefully place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 1 hour {at 350}
Cut yourself a slice before it is gone.
