I can't wait to share this recipe with you today.
I make it every year for Christmas.
It is oh.so.easy.
{What do I make that is NOT easy, I ask you}
It is not only yummy, but very pretty too.
I send it every year to school for "teachers gifts"
Stick some in a cute glass jar, add a ribbon and tag,
and you have a super cute gift!
It would also make a nice neighbors gift.
So, are you ready?
2 ingredients.
1 box of candy canes
2 bags of white chocolate morsels
Take your candy canes out of the box and plastic.
Put them all in a large ziploc bag.
Wach the heck out of them with your rolling pin.
{Or whatever you use to beat food with in your house}
Melt your morsels in a microwave safe bowl.
{Follow directions on back of package}
Add your crushed candycanes.
Spread onto wax paper, using a spatula to smooth over.
Let cool an hour or so.
Peel off of wax paper and break into pieces.
This is also a great recipe to do with the kids.
Mine love to help in the kitchen.
Of course, their favorite part is smashing the candy canes.
Go figure!
