A Fab.U.Less Day Of Thrifting!

So, the little lady went back to school today.
*Sigh*
She has been off two weeks for winter break.
It is SO hard for me EVERY year when this day comes.
As soon as she jumps out of the car,
a tear runs down my cheek.
{Yes, I know, I am weird like that}
I miss this pretty face and sweet voice when she is not with us.

The alarm went off at 5am.
I stumbled out of bed and began making coffee,
and then breakfast,
and then began praying that is would be a GOOD day.
For all of our family,
the teachers and the children returning to school today.
I want to start 2012 off on a positive note.
And decided while laying in bed last night,
I knew today would be hard,
but, we would make it through,
as we always do.
And, the good news is,
we did!

After dropping her off,
I returned home to get the hubs {he was off today} and little man.
We had some running around to do,
and decided to do a little thrifting while we were out and about!
Wowzers!
We came home with some GREAT finds today.
And, the best part is,
we paid a whopping $19,
 for EVERYTHING!
All of the furniture will be taken from TRASH to TREASURE.
I will of course document it all to share here!
Check out all of our awesome finds.

Those vintage ornaments are a great score and so close to Christmas, I can't believe they hadn't been snatched up. I am dying to have my first go around at 'thrifting', I have yet to try it. You have inspired me. :)
