Today

Today, I am happy because my little lady got out of school early.
Which meant she, the little man, and I got to play TOGETHER this afternoon.

Today, I have many new candle oils in my candle cabinet,
that I am so excited about making and sharing with you.

Today, I am nervous about attending a funeral and baby shower,
on Saturday, three hours apart. I know both will be emotional.
Obviously, in different ways.
Excited about the baby shower.
Upset about the funeral.

Today, I am blown away with how fast time goes by.
Savoring every moment with my family.
Scared life won't ever be the same when they are no longer little.
And all grown up.

Today, I am thankful we have our health.
As there are some {many} who are less fortunate than we are.

Today, I am looking forward to a four day weekend with my family.
Baking, playing and park going.

Today, I am worried about a friend who is having medical issues.
Scared of the outcome, because I have seen it one too many times.

Today, I ask that God watches over her and her precious family.
Giving her the strength she needs to cope and understand.

Today, I miss my sister.
And I want her to come home so we can laugh and laugh and laugh.

Today,
I accept "some things never change"
and it is beyond MY control to change them.

Today,
I will lay my head on my pillow and thank God for what he has blessed me with.
Pray for understanding, as to why certain things happen.

Today,
I have grown from yesterday and learned life lessons.
And, am STILL learning.

Today,
I will be true to myself and be ME.
As I have always been.
Take it or leave it.

Today,
I have hope for tomorrow.
