Do you like chocolate chip cookies my friends?
Hello, who doesn't, right?
:)
You have to try this yummy recipe!
The kids wanted to make a sweet treat this weekend.
So, we headed into the pantry to see what was on hand.
We pulled out a bag of chocolate chips.
Then got busy looking through cookbooks to see what we could find.
They wanted to try a "pie" instead of traditional cookies.
So glad we did.
This bad boy tastes like one giant chocolate chip cookie!
You will need:
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. regular sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375.
Grease a nine inch pie pan.
Cream butter and sugars.
Add everything but chocolate chips and mix until blended.
Stir in your chocolate chips last.
Pour into pie pan and "pat down" with spatula.
Bake 35-40 minutes.
{Until done in the middle}
Sit back and enjoy a slice with a cup of hot coffee.
As you watch your kids and husband eat almost the whole "pie"
:)

Yummy! I make something similar....next time try sprinkling a little kosher salt on top before baking...the added salt is a nice twist! Oh I love this! It would be great if you would share this with our readers for Fun Stuff Fridays. http://www.toysinthedryer.com/2012/02/fun-stuff-fridays-11.html
