Easy Cream Cheese Danish

I am here today to share a yummy recipe with you.
I found the recipe in an old church cookbook.
I, of course, made some alterations!
It was actually supposed to be made in a 9 x 13.
 I cut it in half and used and 8 x 8 square dish and it came out great!

You will need:

1 block of cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 container of crescent rolls

Preheat your oven to 350.

Let your cream cheese soften {or pop in microwave for 20 seconds}
Add sugar and lemon juice.
Mix well.
Grease your square dish.
Unroll your crescent rolls and cover the bottom of the dish with them.
Be sure to "pinch" all of the seams to seal them.

Bake for 5 minutes or so.
I did this to make sure the dough cooked all of the way through.
Take out of oven.

Pour your cream cheese mixture on top.
Put the remainder of your crescent rolls on top of that.
Again, be sure all seams are sealed.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
{Or until golden brown on top}

That's it.
Told you it was easy.
The hubs and kids were seriously raving about this recipe!
Next time I will be making the 9 x 13 size!
