Our Date Day

So, the hubs and I had a last minute date day yesterday afternoon.

It was OH so fabulous!

The kids stayed with Aunt T for a few hours.

We headed to a nearby town, to one of our ALL TIME favorite places to eat!

Everytime we go {which is maybe four times a year}

we absolutely have to share one of their famous margaritas.

Oh.my.lawd.

Delicious!

It was cold and super rainy.

But, we didn't mind.

Ohhhhh, HOW we enjoyed some good adult conversation!

That, too, maybe happens four times a year!

We split the loaded nachos.

Again, so yummy!

We left there stuffed.

But not too stuffed to share one of these bad boys.....

:)

We then decided to head downtown to do some thrifting.

They have one of the best antique malls ever.

I know we were there at least two hours.

Browsing around and chatting with folks!

Seriously.

SO.FUN.

We talked and laughed,

and talked and laughed some more!

Then we went on a nice walk in the rain.

Browisng around their downtown and poking our heads in a some shops!

The last shop we went in was my favorite.

Of course, I left my camera in the car.

Boo.

So, I didn't get any pictures.

We met the sweetest couple that owned it.

Hello. LOVE the name! Need I say more?

We visited with them FOREVER.

It was the best conversation.

One of those "meant to be" types of conversation.

:)

Aunt T had to head to work.

So, the hubs and I headed on in to pick up the kiddos.

But not before grabbing a coffee!

:)

They had the best time ever,

making and baking pizzas,

painting and playing games.

Thanks Aunt T for giving this Mom and Dad a nice break!

It was much appreciated sister!
