Thrifted Mellow Yellow

How is your weekend going so far?

It has been cold and rainy here the past three days.

Hence, the dark pictures!

I just couldn't wait to introduce you to Miss Mellow Yellow!

The little man and I came accross her while thrifting this week.

For $1.

Yes, I said $1.

Seriously.

I LOVE, I mean L.O.V.E. the color yellow.

Absolutely, hands down, my favorite!

I have been adding color to our home, little by little.

I love to brighten up our space during the spring.

That being said,

it is not the easiest thing for me to do.

I always question myself.

Is it too much, too bright, etc.

So, for now, I am adding tidbits of yellow.

Here and there.

We will see how we like it.

Who am I kidding?

So far, I am loving it!

The hubs, however, thinks she is a bit bright!

Notice she is STILL on our kitchen table.

I am hoping she will grow on him!

Here we have a close up of the lovely vintage lace.

So purty.

We also came accross a few other yellow pieces while out thrifting.

The yellow plate was also $1.

I am thinking she will go on our bookshelves, on a little plate stand.

And, here we have a little yellow bowl.

Fifty cents.

And last, and probably my favorite.

Two yellowish colored books.
