I have sort of a "catch up" post for you today!
I shared with you back in May that RBCC would have a booth at Polka Festival.
A few of you have emailed me asking if I had any tips about doing an outdoor festival.
The answer is "yes" and "no"
:)
I have been doing festivals for YEARS.
And trust me, there is always something new to learn!
You always want to have your spot looking sassy and cute.
Duh right?
No, but seriously, presenatation is EVERYTHING.
It goes a long way and is what your customers see first,
before even entering your booth or area.
Always have your prices displayed clearly for your customers to read.
Think about it, nothing is more frustrating than not knowing what something cost.
Be sure you have your business cards out and displayed.
Even if you don't make a "sale" hand them out.
They could be a future customer!
Make sure your product easy to view.
In my case, sniff!
Display a banner with your business name.
I purchased mine from Vista Print.
They have a great selection.
ALWAYS say THANK YOU and MEAN it!
Seriously, it goes a long way.
Letting your custmers know how much you truly value their business!
Make new friends,
and hang out with old ones!
