Autumn Hutch Decor

Happy Sunday everyone!

What a beautiful day we are having here in Texas

We finally got a "cold front" late Friday night in these parts.

Believe it or not, Friday we hit 106.

Yes, I am serious.

Yes, we broke a record.

Yes, it was terrible.

Yes, I dream of living up north where there is a real fall.

 

Once that cool air blew in,

we dropped down in the 80's during the day and the 60's at night.

Heaven, I tell you.

Pure.Bliss.

 



 

Needless to say,

once the hint of "crispy air" arrived,

I was inspired to decorate for fall.

I LOVE this time of year!

 



I decided to start with my kitchen hutch.

The hubs just built it for me a few months ago.

I have been waiting to decorate it with the seasons changing.

So fun!

 

I don't like to go overboard with seasonal decor.

I basically keep out what I would normally have,

and then add in a few seasonal items here and there.

Less is more, people!

Less.Is.More.

 



 

 Love these fresh yellow flowers.

And what fall hutch would be complete,

without a Red Barn Candle Company Spiced Pumpkin candle?

Not mine,

that's for sure!

Ahem,

moving on...

 

 

I adore this quote about autumn.

I write it on our chalkboard every fall.

 



I kept my white dishes out,

and just added fallish elements here and there!

 







I think Mr. Hoot Owl is loving his new home.

I smile every time I look at him!
