DIY $3 Valentine Tree

Hello friends.
I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend.
I am here to share a quick and simple craft with you today.
Let's get started, shall we?

First you want to find a nice size branch.
The kids and I had fun going on a hunt for one around our yard today.
We found a nice sturdy one and decided to spray paint it white.
This is what will be your "tree" so choose your size wisely!

While our tree was drying,
we headed in the house to fix up some sort of container.
I have a ton of mason jars laying around,
so we just used one of those.
We filled the jar with Hershey kisses.
{Purchased for $2 at Target after Christmas clearance}
Please try not to be jealous of my fab manicure.

We also picked up these little cinnamon heart gummies.
We found them at the grocery store on the Valentine candle aisle for $1.

Next we went outside to bring in our tree.
Then stuffed it into the jar.
The kids basically just stuck the little gummy hearts any and everywhere.
I also grabbed a red ribbon and tied it around my jar.
Super simple, but adds a nice touch!
And, there you have it.
A fun family craft for Valentine's Day.
Takes an hour tops and only a few bucks.
Of course, the best part are the priceless memories and yummy candy eating!

Sharing here.

Cute idea! I would have to keep this one away from kids and the hubby!
