Happy 2013!

 

Good morning, friends!

I hope you are enjoying your first morning of 2013.

It is calm and quiet in these parts.

I am sipping on my second cup of hot coffee,

all snuggled up in my flannel pajamas,

 watching it drizzle outside.

Ah, my kind of morning.

 

I am so excited about the new year over here.

2013, wow.

Something about a "clean slate" just feels so good.

I love setting new goals for the new year,

making lists and attempting to organize my life.

Notice I said, attempting.

 

But seriously,

as much as I don't like change,

at times change can be a good thing for all of us.

Without change, we can't learn and grow, right?

Lord knows I still have a lot of learning and growing to do.

Both mentally and spiritually.

I pray everyday for God to guide me to grow.

I want to be the best wife, Mama, daughter, sister and friend that I can be.

 

Speaking of change.

I am SO excited to share a bit of news with you.

Red Barn Candle Company is getting a makeover.

The blog will be undergoing a brand new look this month.

I am working with a fabulous blog designer to achieve the new look.

I have a vision in mind and can't wait to share it with you guys.

 

I better run and start packing up Christmas décor.
