Happy Sunday!
Today the kiddos and I made a batch of our favorite cake mix cookies.
We decided to put a little spin on them and made them into hearts.
I think they turned out pretty darn cute.
Get ready friends and family,
you will SO be getting a batch of these for Valentine's Day this year!
I am planning on packaging them in little clear baggies,
maybe tied with some sort of twine or Valentine ribbon.

Okay, back to business!
Wanna make them?
Alrighty!
Here's how.
You will need three ingredients.
Yes, you read that right,
no need to adjust your monitor.
;)
One strawberry cake mix {I used Duncan Hines}
2 eggs
1/3 cup of oil
Grab yourself a medium size bowl.
Preheat your oven to 350.
Lightly beat the two eggs in your bowl.
Stir in the cake mix and oil.
I like to use a rubber spatula for this.
Stir until well combined.
Next you want to shape them into hearts.
We basically rolled them into a ball.
them used our hands to make something that resembled a heart!
Now, pop them in the oven and bake for ten to twelve minutes.
Cool on wire racks.
That's it.

These look SO GOOD! Strawberry cake mix has always been my fav. My mom used to give me a hard time about it because for my 5th Birthday she had to make strawberry cupcakes for my friends at church, strawberry cupcakes for my friend party, and a strawberry cake for my actual birthday. With strawberry ice cream. I will have to make these with my boys and think of my mom.
